Green-Red Monsters.  I predicted that the walker decks were the decks to beat and haste threats are a great way to keep them in check.

What was the best card in your deck this weekend?

Probably The Immortal Sun since it shuts down the walkers and provides a huge advantage in creature mirrors.

Bant Theft.  I tested Simic Theft and it felt weak against Aggro/Mono-Red. I saw Kenwon Tran’s SCG Classic Top 8 deck and said that’s where I wast to be.  I expected a lot of Midrange to respond to Mono-Red’s popularity.

Mono-Red, it was a deck I knew and one that always has a chance to win.  It was also one I love playing and going off with Frenzy is a lot of fun.
