Wizards of the Coast announced this weekend that they will release a new, 229-card expansion set—Modern Masters—on June 7, 2013. The set will feature Modern-legal cards from Eighth Edition through Alara Reborn. It will be available in normal 15-card packs, with a foil in each pack, at $6.99 MSRP.
The professed goal of the set is to make Modern staples more widely available—the first card spoiled? Tarmogoyf.
