I’m not at all familiar with MODO, so this might happen automatically, but it seems like playing the full art mountain would be so much better than playing just a random old mountain
Thanks for the draft; I love these videos!

I think Nissa would give you more value than whatever subpar card you picked.

As a spreading seas fan, I was sort of bummed out you didn’t run it. I usually try to run one if I have some double blue cards, and you had 4.

hand revealing effects among other things make having all your cards with the same name also have the same exact picture tactically preferable.

LOL nice reference to the omniscient Philosoraptor!

This draft went pretty badly. It should have been the black, which would be very good with some Disfigures, Kalitas, Casualties and so on. On MODO people learned to draft red and blue pretty highly, so I usually end up in BG, but It’s not that I am sad. Actually i grab some Gladehearts, Behemoths, landfall stuff and in the end win the whole draft.

Thanks for posting this. But did you really say that Welkin Tern is better than Kor Skyfisher?
Mark Conkle says: November 8, 2009 @ 3:41 pm
Valakut with 8 mountains is terrible. If you draw enough mountains to trigger it, you will almost certainly have already lost.

Well it was all about testing; trial/error is the best way to find out.
